Is it just me? Or is everyone else still planning their summer holiday travels? It’s crept up on us so quickly and is just around the corner! Maybe it’s because I’m still wearing a coat and scarf on the school run here in the Peak District

Anyways, welcome back to the week’s Fearless Family Travel link up! I do love this little community.

What I’ve been up to

Since I last hosted the link up, we’ve had one of best family travel adventures to date – a 2.5 week road trip around Morocco! Ez broke his arm two days before we flew out (typical!), but that didn’t stop our fun whatsoever.

You'd think that after hiking all the way up to this view point they'd want to chill for a bit? Oh no. Two seconds after snapping this photo they were leaping off the wall and having running races 🙈 .. Of course, Ez with his broken arm in a cast ended up falling over and there were tears. The local ladies rushed to his aid, and he lapped up the attention 😂 (he's absolutely fine). .. We loved our stay here in beautiful #Chefchaouen but we're packing our bags again tonight as we're hitting the road again in the morning 🚗🇲🇦 .. .. .. #moroccotravel #Morocco #marokko #discoverafrica #travelafrica #fearlessfamtrav #travelmadfam #wanderlustmomblogger #lpkids #lppathfinders #hikingwithkids #travelwithkids #familytravel #gofurther #exploringfamilies #familytravelbloggers #showthemtheworld #parentswhowander #worldschooling #takeyourkidseverywhere #uktravelblogger #mytinyatlas #loveyourtimetogether #ourtribetravels #bbctravel #passionpassport #beautifuldestinations #mumsofboys

Our itinerary took us to ancient medinas, roman ruins, the Sahara Desert and up to the Atlas Mountains. We also found a beautiful family friendly riad in the heart of MarrakechRiad Les Hibiscus. Morocco is such a fantastically diverse country and surprisingly easy to self-drive in a hire car. You can read all about our Morocco itinerary with kids here and it’s also the post I’m linking up this week.

Aren't camels the most uncomfortable things to ride on? After 20mins I was done 😂 But the boys absolutely loved it and I was so impressed that Arthur went on one on his own! .. We're now making our way back towards Marrakech, stopping to explore little towns and medinas along the way. But before we hit the craze of Marrakech, we're off trekking in the High Atlas 🏔️ .. .. .. #desertluxurycamp #desertluxurycampmorocco #ergchebbi #fearlessfamtrav #travelmadfam #lpkids #takeyourkidseverywhere #camelriding #desertfun #saharadesert #moroccotravel #marokko #uktravelblogger #snaphappybritmums #worldschooling #lppathfinders #lpfanphoto #gofurther #exploringfamilies #loveyourtimetogether #gowithnugget #mondayescapes #familytravel #travelwithkids #adventurekids #adventureparenting #familytravelbloggers #wanderlustmomblogger

And I’ve also just got back from a fantastic press trip organised by Bookings For You to Lake Maggiore, Italy. Jay and I lived there for a while about 16 years ago and hadn’t really been back since. But this trip was with seven other fabulous family travel bloggers from the UK, staying at the beautifully situated Golfa Gabella. I’ll be writing more about our visit soon, but this short trip has really planted the seed for a return with my boys. There is so just to do in the region for outdoor families!

[AD – press trip] What a fabulous few days we've had exploring Lago Maggiore! 🇮🇹💚♥️ .. I've just landed back in the UK and was welcomed at the airport by two of my boys (the other one is at Beavers) and it's so good to see them! .. This photo is from a little detour we took to the airport this morning. We rode buckets (yes, ACTUAL BUCKETS) up the mountain side to drink in these awesome views 😍😍😍 Amazing! .. You can just spot @mini_travellers and @extraordinary_chaos in the bucket (bottom left) clinging on for dear life 🤣 .. Massive thanks to @bookings_for_you for an incredible few days 🙏 .. .. .. #italyforfamilies #lakemaggiore #handpickedbybfy #notjustavilla #italianlakes #italylove #italytravel #golfogabella #maccagno #italyvilla #thelakes #lakesofitaly #travelwithkids #familytravellove #fearlessfamtrav #wearetravelmums #traveljunkies #uktravelblogger #familytravelblogger #mummyblogger #tmom #wanderlustmomblogger #lppathfinders #ourtribetravels #traveljunkies #beautifuldestinations #passionpassport #ourtribetravels #takeyourkidseverywhere #mondayescapes
