Nepal can be a tough country to travel, even without kids. The infrastructure is poor and getting from A to B by bus will be a day winding around hairpin bends and bumping over potholes, even though the towns are only 120km away. And surely hiking in the Himalayas is just for adults?

Those that take on the challenge of Nepal will be greatly rewarded. Reaching the summit of Poon Hill in the Himalayas together has to be one of our best family travel moment to date.
