Trunki

Our boys love zooming around airports on their trunki. It nicely fits under the seat in front of them on the plane and gives them responsibility over their own luggage, which we believe should be taught from a young age. Collect stickers from every destination to personalise. Also very handy for a night away at the Grandparents’.

Amazon Fire Kids Tablet

This is an absolute life saver for us on long flights, car journeys, restaurants and crazy early mornings when travelling. Load it up with their favourite shows, films and apps (although you’ll probably find that the 5000+ games, apps, vidoes and books with the 1 year of Fire for Kids Unlimited is more than enough). Also, there’s a 2-year worry-free guarantee: if it breaks, just return it and Amazon will replace it for free. No questions asked.

No mess colouring! Great for those long journeys or sitting in restaurants, and nicely fits in Mum’s (or Dad’s!) handbag. With the magic (water) pen, colour the drawings and see the vibrant colours appear. When the pages dry they fade back to white. Allowing your child to colour them again.

  3. A great list especially the pen!

Trunki’s are great entertainment for children in the airport. Our children loved them and got some very envious looks from other children, as we raced them through the airport!

They do a very funky junior version for older children.

  4. Nanouk

Amazing gift ideas! I like them all! And our 2yo would too 🙂 he is very into stickering and making pictures, so this are my favorites.
We are traveling with a trailer but if we’re going to travel by plane we’ll definitely give our kids a Trunki!

  5. Thank goodness for Twitter, where I found you! The little camera and the snack & play tray will be my holiday season saviours this Christmas! Thanks for the tips!
